PROTECT YOUR HEART

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. PROVERBS 4:23

The heart has a relation with the inner man. The new man in Christ Jesus is a spirit being, he has a soul and lives in a body. Now, the relation of the spirit man to your heart is that the heart is the home of your spirit. The Apostle Peter said, let it be the hidden man of the heart. 1Peter 3:4. Who is the hidden man of the heart? The spirit man is. He is hidden in the heart. That’s the source of his dwelling.

You have the sole responsibility of protecting your heart with all diligence because the heart is the weakest part of your being. Anything that enters your heart has the power to affect the spirit man. Some people open their hearts to anything: don’t do that. Allow only the word of God and positive thoughts into your heart. Don’t allow negative thoughts, don’t allow bitterness, selfishness, or pride to take over your heart. It will only cripple your spirit-self and damage your entire life.

God is not responsible for keeping your heart for you. The Word of God does not say God will keep it; it’s not his business, it’s yours. Your heart is yours, you are in charge of your heart and you guard it by the word of God. The Bible says in Colossians 3:1, Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Now that’s how to guard your heart. By setting it through the word on spiritual things. The more your heart is spiritually inclined, the less Satan has an advantage over it.

DECLARATION: From hence, I keep my heart with all diligence. I do not allow anything contrary to the thoughts of God to enter and destroy my heart. I’m walking in peace, joy, health, and prosperity.
